Brant to perform at Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services Benefit Concert

Ottawa, ON, Canada, June 4, 2007 - Brant Pethick will make a guest appearance at the 3rd Annual Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services benefit concert, on Saturday June 9th, 2007, starting at 7:30PM.

Brant will be joining Derek Jones on stage, and will be performing a song from his upcoming debut CD, A New Day.

The benefit concert, organized by soprano Linda Major, is being held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, in Ottawa, Canada (82 Kent St. at Wellington). Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults, and are available at the door.

Ottawa, ON, Canada, May 5, 2007 – Everyone needs strength and encouragement to overcome the challenges we face throughout our life. Whether it is personal loss, relationships, or political concerns, the obstacles we face can be overwhelming.

Brant Pethick will release A New Day, an 11-song CD featuring songs that represent the spirit and inner strength to overcome these challenges. “I’m guided by the will to carry on”, sings Brant, on the opening title track, A New Day. It describes the self-confidence and determination to persevere and offers the listener a will to survive.

These positive messages offer introspective into life experiences and are reinforced with guitar driven arrangements which produce energy and emotion.

After the completion of recording at his home studio and working with musicians in various locations across Canada, A New Day is currently being mixed at Blue Bear Sound in Ottawa, Canada. Brant's debut CD release will be available June 15, 2007.

Welcome to my new website!

I have been in the studio for several months recording my new material and planning for a Spring 2007 release of my debut solo record.

I am also working closely with Blue Bear Sound to complete this project and have enjoyed producing the music with 2 fellow band mates, Derek Jones and Ian Lewer.
